I have been crocheting for several years now. I learned at work between calls from a friend when I was on day shift. There was a project for making scarves for the superbowl workers and that is when I decided I wanted to learn. All the materials being provided for me all I needed was to buy a hook. I thought why not. I picked up a g hook and went to town, while all were not the best work I ever did I still had fun doing it.

Now almost 4 years later I do amigurumi. How I wish I had these hooks sooner. I used to crochet all day and all night but my hands hurt so bad I stopped for the longest time. I have so many patterns of things I want to make and these hooks will make that a possibility. No more will I be afraid to use the smaller hooks because I can't hold them. No more will I bruise myself trying to make things.

I have gone back to the basics practicing various stitches in a scarf. It is moving quite quickly and I can't wait to see how much faster I am with these hooks then I was with the plain metal ones.

You know you want my hat

This was my first attempt at doing a hat. I had no clue what I was doing. The idea was a hat/ scarf combo. I ran with it and just kept trying until my skills improved vastly.
