For some the need arises to monitor oxygen levels when at home to keep an eye on any changes. For others its purely curiosity that makes us want to check it. The great thing is either way they can be used to find serious life threatening issues. I found these are commonly used by people who suffered a brain injury, surgery, COPD, pneumonia.

For me it is curiosity to see what my numbers are. An SpO2 of  95% is or higher is normal. For anyone that has a health issue this is great to track what happens to their oxygen levels after certain activities. I can't wait to see how my oxygen levels now compare to what they are after the reduction. Your doctor may give you a form to fill out with your results or you can find a printable chart online.

The SM-150 is well made and comfortable. It does not squeeze your finger too hard and I had no issues with using it with my long nails. The inside is a rubber material that is smooth and easy to clean.

If you need a Oximeter I highly recommend the SM-150
