Weight Gurus Smartphone Connected Digital Bathroom Scale

With smartphones being so prevalent in society a scale that can talk to our phones in a world of apps is one of the best ideas in a long time. With the app we can tell our ups and downs and not have to think " What was I before again?" The app is simple to use and each time you weigh you just scan in the jumbled screen and it adds a weigh in to your history

I love my weight gurus scale and all the things it can do.
Here is a little bit about the scale.

Baker's Mat Review

I love to bake its just a thing I do. My most popular item, is cake balls, everyone begs me to make them. The one thing I hate is the clean up, the chocolate just gets everywhere leaving a really big mess to clean up once I am done. I make about 2 cakes at a time into cake balls to feed 30 people. Before I had been using wax paper but it was just a hassle because it would move and I would get some on the pan. Now with the bakers mat it lays flat inside the pan and I can place the cake balls on there with no worry its going to move the last second before I drop the ball.

Car seats are not only safe but required by law which means your bundle of joy will spend hundreds of hours in one, they are safe not only while driving but are also great to transport your children from place to place while you are not in a car, with the amount of time your little one will spend inside his car seat you might need a couple of accessories for it, for me a car seat canopy is a must have, there are several option in the market and even a couple of custom covers made by request, With so many options available it can be hard to choose one. I was given the opportunity to review Sprout Shell Chic Infant Carrier Covers, all in one car seat cover, it can be used as is or as a nursing cover, shopping cart cover, high chair cover, swing cover and even a bib.

Some great iDeaPlay Tablet. Review

With 2 teenagers at home buying laptops, tablets and smartphones can be quite an extra budget, my daughter received a iPad and new laptop as Christmas gift last year, my son uses the family desktop and now owns my daughter's older laptop he was quite happy with that deal but he really wanted a tablet, so he came up with the idea of getting a tablet as his birthday gift; since his  BD was 8 months ahead  I said sure, I know there are parents who can afford to buy 2 iPads in less then a year but that's not us. For a couple of months I was looking for an affordable kid's tablet. My son is 14  but I'm not ready to let him try any kind of technology that cannot be monitored or has parental control, children tablets are perfect for a first tablet and for a teenage boy who drops and loses his phone every 30 mins. For a couple of months I was looking for a tablet in our budget range, with parental control, games and the ability to surf the net and add some apps my son loves (facebook, twitter, instagram and pandora or spotify). Later on that month we find out we're pregnant again and we could not possibly afford one, my son told us it was ok but I knew he was heartbroken and so was I.

Some great iDeaPlay Tablet. Review

A couple of weeks later we were blessed with the opportunity to review the iDeaPlay android tablet, while I was actively looking for a tablet The iDeaPlay was between my 3 top options. This iDeaPlay design is sleek with rounded corners and curved in the 4 sides, the tablet come with a functional, safe, durable and bold orange silicone bumper.  The iDeaPlay has a 7'' display/screen and 800 x 480 (touch screen), with  Dual Core 1.2GHz & Android AB20, 1gb RAM, 4gb  internal storage's  (expandable to 32gb), weights 0.60 lb approx., a front facing camera of 0.3 mega pixels, OS Android  Jelly Bean 4.2, a  3,200 mAh Lithium-polymer battery, built in parental control and comes pre-loaded with  many apps, the most prominent being Famingo.
Some great iDeaPlay Tablet. Review

Famingo is a child friendly app, perfect for children up to 11, this app has so many fantastic features to keep children entertained  in a safe environment,  Famingo has to be loaded and locked for children to  be able to play with it, comes with a built in security system to lock or unlock and offer the parents the ability to remotely monitor your  childs activity through Famingo website. Once you loaded  Famingo you have 2 options play -  manage: the first designed for kids and the second for parents, one of my favorite features is the ability to control  the amount of time your children can use the device. Famingo offers hours of video streaming in their premium version, and  offers the parents total control over the type of games your child can play  yet the child can add games they're wanting to try to their wishlist. Many of their games can be played with out access to internet/wi-fi .

Some great iDeaPlay Tablet. Review

While I had so much fun testing Famingo it was definitively different than what I was expecting and I thought  it might not be what my son wanted,  we will see once he receives this tablet as a Birthday present, yet the tablet can also be used as a regular tablet and has so many apps to choose from iDea Apps Marketplace, you can find thousands of apps free or paid for your tablet however I couldn't find spotify, calibre or instagram 3 really popular apps available on Google Appstore. The tablet works great as a regular tablet kids can access pandora instead of  spotify for music and they have 100's of game apps (my son favorites). however google loads really fast and so does other programs like facebook and twitter. Your children or teenager will enjoy playing with this little gadget.

Some great iDeaPlay Tablet. Review

While my husband and I have reached an agreement to save enough money to  buy my son a more grown up tablet next year like the iDea7 (super affordable) the iDeaPlay will do a great job as his first tablet and teach him, electronic devices need to be cared for. This tablet will be great for the baby coming in August and she/he will be able to grow up in a safe and fun technological environment. While this tablet is great as a child 's tablet, there is a couple of things that could be upgraded like: upgrade camera resolution, add Google Appstore and the battery lifespan is too short 3 hours tops.  Inside the iDeaPlay box you will find: tablet, micro USB cable, Power Adapter, USB Dongle, protective tablet cover, earbuds, manual and how to register your tablet to activate the 1 year warranty. The iDeaPlay retails for $129 in store but can be purchased for $99 through amazon.com, you can visit iDeaUsa Website or follow the company on Facebook or twitter for more news and offers.

SafeHands Alcohol-Free Hand Sanitizer Line for Children & Adults Review

Sanitize is a office girls best friend. The bad part? it dries out your skin, when you blog about polish often that is not something one wants because it doesn't look pretty in pictures or in real life. I was excited when I got the chance to try out the safeHands and let the old man use some as well.

Skinny Jane's "Skinny Burn" Review

I received one or more of the products mentioned for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I have been working on losing weight for awhile and had been on a medication do help boost my metabolism and appetite suppressor. I ran into some issues with it but also some good results. In about 6 months I lost 40 lbs (gained it back later) It had some bad reactions for me as well. I found myself never hungry and I had to force myself to eat at least once a day. The thought of food made me nauseated, my blood sugars were constantly bouncing from normal to too low. I would get dizzy, cold sweats, ect and it got to the point I had to have my lunch hour at work changed because if I waited till they wanted I was sick. It got to the point I had to drink soda to keep my sugar up but I had been so good not drinking it, setting me back on soda addiction. Finally I had enough and just stopped filling my prescription.

Since then I had been trying to find a new way to lose weight and when I got the chance to review Skinny Jane I jumped on it.

Little Me fashion for babies. Review (Blu me away or Pink of me Event)

Looking for baby clothes is fun but exhausting, whether you're having/have a girl or a boy there are so many different brands and styles; I remember 18 years ago having so much fun buying clothes for my daughter and 3 years later it was so hard to find different things for a boy, yes  you could always buy overalls in 10 different colors or pants or some awesome sneakers, but that was all; a lot has changed since then, no matter if you have a little girl or a little boy babies and toddlers clothes are fun to shop, adorable to see them wearing it and super comfortable for the little ones. My time figuring out what this baby will be has not been easy, she/he doesn't want to cooperate, I was told first my baby was a boy, now suddenly it's a girl but we will not know for sure until she/he decides it's time to meet mommy and daddy. Looking for clothes was amazing I sorta indulged a little bit on clothes and found so many brands, some of them where brands my older children used and others are completely new to me.

Japanesse Candy Subscription. Review

I'm a fan of the Asian culture, food and history I find it rich, colorful and full of traditions, the food is an art and created with exotic ingredients as a mix of texture and flavors, Japanese food is one of my favorites: I love the miso soup, some tempura, yakitori, but I'm not familiar with many sweets or deserts, I've bought a couple but I have no clue what they are called or how they were made and I'm always wiling to try more. Not long ago I came across the opportunity to review a monthly subscription box filled with Japanese sweets. Candy Japan is a subscription box that delivers twice a month a diverse mixture of carefully selected delicious Japanese sweets for only $ 25 each month.

Daddy Scrub's diaper backpack. Review (Blu me away or Pink of me Event)

When I was in the market for a diaper bag I asked my husband to help me choose one, since there is always the possibility he might end up carrying it too, as you can imagine he had a fit, I might need to paraphrase his words: " There is no freaking way I'm going to carry one of those, I can hold the baby and you can carry YOUR diaper bag so pick the one you like". We both knew, he would eventually have to carry a diaper back like it or not, well I must admit it could have been fun to see him with a pink or purple diaper bag, but I felt really bad and as soon as we got home I went online to try to find some manly or at least not so girly diaper bag.

When you think of your baby changing station you want something comfortable, safe and why not cute; the changing pad itself is mostly white, cold and generic, but there are several options in the market to add a touch of cuteness into the mix. I was recently given the opportunity to review Baby's Journey Measure Me, Changing Pad Cover - Animal Party Girl.  and I was so happy I could have some other option to my cover which actually was a hand down from a friend, it was new, she gave birth to a gorgeous baby boy so pink was not a viable option anymore.

Walking the pounds off with Ozeri 4x3motion Digital Pocket 3D Pedometer with Tri-Axis Technology. Review

A couple of weeks ago I came across the opportunity to review Ozeri's 4x3 motion Digital Pocket 3D Pedometer with Tri-Axis Technology. I guess even pregnant  you need to watch your weight. I've gained so much weight with pregnancy it's hard to move around, yet my doctor wants me to stop gaining and keeps telling me I should keep this weight and if it's possible to even drop some pounds, the worst part is that I seem to be tired all the time (3rd trimester) another recommendation was to start walking, walking will not only help me to control my weight, give me some extra energy but ease the pregnancy aches. I'm never sure of how long I walk or for how long so I was glad to review the Ozeri  Digital Pedometer.

Walking the pounds off with Ozeri 4x3motion Digital Pocket 3D Pedometer with Tri-Axis Technology. Review

I love walking but I'm not sure why I took a sabbatical pregnancy. This last 7/8 months all I have done is watch tv and eat KitKats or other chocolates, well I eat tons of fruits but  the chocolates and bacon were all I craved for. I've been using the pedometer for almost a week now and while it took me a while to get used to the idea I had to carry it with me all day everyday now it feel natural to carry my new little friend with me. The 3x4 motion can record the amount of k-cal you burn, the miles you walk and the number of steps with surprising accuracy, thanks to their great motion sensors.

The Ozeri's 3x4 motion also features a slip function which  can allow you to record individual data, for example to see the amount of k-cals  you burn by running a mile or walking one.  To start using your 3x4 Motion Pedometer you need to introduce your weight, stride and set your calendar, the pedometer is powered by a lithium battery which automatically turns off after 30 seconds of inactivity and a blue black light for night view This little gadget will be more useful once my baby is here and I can start really walking off  the baby weight. The Ozeri, 3x4 Motion Digital pocket comes in two different colors black or yellow and can be purchased on amazon.com

The Selfy case by Iluv

The Selfy case by Iluv

The selfy case is something I was excited to stumble upon. I take a lot of pictures and sometimes holding the phone is not the best option or an option at all. That is where the Selfy comes in, you can prop it up or attach it to a tripod and use it to take video and  photos.

The selfy is available in both black and pink. I love the pink its so bright and girly. This case is so well made its amazing. I don't feel like if I drop my phone in this its doomed. This does not have a built in screen protector so if you don't already have one you will need one.

Stretch your budget with out straining the quality!

In my house we are frugal quite frugal by necessity  not by choice, we try to not spend a penny over, and we almost always keep our expenses low,  it requires lots of patience, time, effort and team work.  With 2 teenagers, my husband and our cat, we need to stretch our budget as much as we can, even more now since we will be adding a new member to our family. From clipping coupons every Sunday to matching prices at Walmart I'm always looking for new ways to save money.

Breastfeeding is not an easy topic it's quite controversial; there are supporters and those who are against it, the topic gets even more complicated when you speak about breastfeeding in public. In my country breastfeeding in public is not such a big deal you can see moms everywhere feeding their babies in public, no one will stare or ask them to cover, yet in the USA breastfeeding in public seems to be a problem. To be honest I have never been brave enough to breastfeed in public, I'm shy I've always used a blanket or something else cover while feeding my babies.

Getting my nursery ready for my little one is one of the most beautiful experiences a mom can have, while doing so with the nausea, aches, acne, heartburn, etc. The time I spent creating my babies new world made it all worthwhile. I can be a tiny bit obsessive and really wanted my baby to have everything I could offer in my budget, in a couple of weeks my husband and I found each other drawing on baby items, clothes, toys, hardware, blankets, diapers and anything you can imagine.

When I first got the eyelash curler I was excited but also weary at the same time. I had never used a eyelash curler before and was afraid to put something so close to my eye. I immediately started reading the box to understand how it works. I learned right away that you use this before mascara not after which had been my assumption.

Johnson's Baby Essentials. Review (Blu me away or Pink of me Event)

Fourteen years ago the best option and the most trusted was Johnson & Johnson Babies; well ten years ago the gmo's and chemicals info wasn't as available as it now. I was seriously thinking to skip Johnson's baby, until a friend told me their products were totally reformulated and  all the dangerous and harmful chemicals were definitively taken out of their formulas with all that info I really wanted to give Johnson's Baby a try. Old habits die hard and I really loved their no tears shampoo and so did my kids. So when the opportunity to work with Johnson's Baby came across I had to say yes I really wanted to check their ingredient list and compare it with the old list still available on the net (I did it and the:  formaldehyde, parabens, triclosan and phthalates are not there anymore).

Swaddle Me. Aden+Anais Review (Blu me away or Pink of me Event)Swaddle Me. Aden+Anais Review (Blu me away or Pink of me Event)

I recently came across a post on facebook about swaddling and how unsafe it was for babies, the  person who wrote this article was talking about the risk of suffocation,SIDS and dysplasia.I must admit I'm not crunchy or silky or whatever is in between , yet as most parents I would think, I try to make educated, informed and well fundamented decisions. I have already asked my doctor, called my family (aunts, 2 uncles a Ob-Gyn and a pediatrician) and friend who is a doula, read a couple of articles and some scientific studies and while swaddling may have a downside the benefits outweighs them. A properly done swaddling will  not only help your baby to sleep more comfortable, protect him/her of the startle reflex and keep him warm until his own thermostat  works properly.
